Increasingly, attacks on the computer system of
companies, including small ones (for example, viruses that encrypt information
and require an economic amount to decrypt it). Adopt security measures:
- Passwords.
It is advisable to use strong passwords (minimum of eight characters and
combining lowercase letters, capital letters, numbers and symbols) that are
changed periodically.
- Do you
copy? Perform regular backup copies on a medium other than the one in which
the information is found (the copies must cover all the essential information
of your company and must periodically verify that they are carried out
correctly).
- Software.
It is advisable to install protection software (antivirus, antispyware or
antimalware) and firewall (computer program that prevents unauthorized access).
- Employees.
Conscientiate your employees of these risks, since they are the most frequent
way in which attacks occur. Do not open suspicious e-mails, do not connect to
insecure Wi-Fi networks, etc.
